FAQs about donating to LBKM
Are donations to LBKM tax-deductible?
Yes. As an Institution of a Public Character (IPC), all qualifying donations to LBKM are eligible for the prevailing tax deduction rate. Please ensure your NRIC/FIN/UEN is provided for automatic submission to IRAS.
Are there alternative ways to donate besides online payment?
Yes. We accept donations via PayNow or Direct Bank Transfer.

Can I pay my Zakat contribution through LBKM?
Yes. LBKM also accepts zakat contributions. All zakat contribution will be eligible for a one-time tax deduction in accordance to S 14(1)(g) of the Income Tax Act.
Can I donate anonymously?
Yes. If you prefer, you may choose to donate anonymously. However, please note that to receive the automatic tax deduction, we are required to submit your NRIC/FIN/UEN to IRAS. If you choose to remain completely anonymous, we will be unable to process the tax deduction for your gift.
