LBKM School Top-up Fund (STUF) 2026:

Extra Transport Aid for MOE FAS Students

Are you an MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) recipient looking for additional help with your child’s daily transport costs? The LBKM School Top-up Fund (STUF) is here to ensure that no child is disadvantaged in the pursuit of education due to financial constraints.

The STUF provides essential, supplementary aid to students already under the MOE FAS scheme.

What is the LBKM School Top-up Fund (STUF)?

The LBKM STUF offers $20 monthly EZ-link top-up assistance to every eligible student, provided on top of the MOE FAS transport credit. This additional financial support helps alleviate the burden of public transport fares, making sure every student can get to school easily and consistently.

    Who is Eligible for STUF?

To qualify for the LBKM School Top-up Fund, students must meet all the following criteria:

    • Primary, Secondary and JC/Pre-University students in MOE Schools.
    • Students must be receiving the MOE FAS.
    • Students must be taking public transport to school.

    Application Period: 23 December 2025 – 31 December 2025

    Documents Required for Application

Please prepare digital copies of the following documents to complete your LBKM STUF 2026 application:

    • Student’s NRIC/Birth Certificate (BC)
    • School posting email or message
    • Front of the EZ-link card
    • School year-end result slip (all pages)

Successful applicants are required to provide photo proof of the monthly EZ-link top-up being completed. This proof must be sent monthly via WhatsApp to the designated LBKM number (to be provided upon successful application), upon receiving the assistance. Failure to submit the monthly photo proof will void all future applications for the LBKM School Top-up Fund.

    FAQ for Bursary Applications

    1. Who exactly are the household members?

Family members who live at the same residence are considered part of your household.

If one or both of your parents are working or living overseas, they are still considered household members.

The following individuals are not counted as household members and should be excluded from your household listing:

    • Married siblings, their spouses, and their children
    • Aunts and uncles who have their own family nucleus
    • Domestic helpers

    2. How is the PCI (Per Capita Income) calculated?

PCI = (Total Family Income + Applicant income) ÷ (Total Number of Family Members + Applicant)

Only 20% of Sibling’s and Grandparent’s income will be counted in the Gross Household Income (GHI) to derive the family PCI.

    3. When will the bursary amount be disbursed?

It will be disbursed approximately three months after the application closing date.

    4. I have multiple siblings/children. Can I submit an application for each of them?

Yes. You can submit an application for each of them using the same email address.

    5. How can I check my application status?

To view your application status, please click this link: LBKM Verification

You will be required to enter your mobile number for OTP verification. Please ensure that you use the same mobile number you provided in your application form during submission.

    6. Why am I not eligible to receive the bursary?

Here are the following reasons why you are not eligible:
