Frequently Asked Questions
I don't have a letter of acceptance yet. Can I attach my offer letter instead?
No. We do not accept offer letters. Please contact your university or faculty to request the letter. If you have not received it yet, please attach any relevant documents and submit your application on time. We will review your submission and contact you accordingly.
I have not received my latest exam results yet. What should I upload?
Please upload the most recent results available, even if they are from the previous semester. For first-year students, you may submit your results from your previous level of education such as A-Level or Diploma. Please include your full course name (e.g. Bachelor of… / Masters of…).
What kind of certificates should I submit?
You can submit certificates that support your academic achievements and relevant experience. This may include academic certificates such as your high school or tertiary diploma or degree, awards or honors for academic or extracurricular achievements, and any certificates that are relevant to your scholarship application.
Can I use an overseas bank account for the financing documents?
No. Only local Singapore bank accounts are accepted for the application.
How many months of payslip do I need to attach?
Please attach the latest payslips dated within three months of your application.
I am a part-time student with a full-time job. Do I need to upload a payslip?
Yes. You are required to upload your payslip within 3 months of application, or your latest CPF Contribution Statement.
I am studying overseas. Should I provide my overseas address?
No. Please provide only your Singapore residential address. Overseas addresses are not accepted for the application.
When will I receive my disbursement?
t will be disbursed approximately three months after the application closing date.
Can I apply for more than one LBKM scholarship?
No. You may apply for only one scholarship at a time. Please choose the scholarship you wish to apply for, and the panel will determine the appropriate award.
