Mr Suhaimi is the CEO of SSAGroup, a group of companies established in 1986, providing professional services in management consulting, training, governance audit and estate planning.

Through his leadership, his main company, SSA Academy Pte Ltd (formerly known as SSA Consulting Group) has consistently been ranked for the last 7 years as one of the top 1000 SMEs in Singapore by DP Information.

The company also received the Dun & Bradstreet Business Eminence Award in 2017.

Suhaimi is also active in community service.

His current involvement includes as President of Lembaga Biasiswa Kenangan Maulud (LBKM) and Board Member/Chairman of Audit Committee, SG Enable.

His past community involvement includes as a Board member of Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic, Charity Council, Public Transport Council, Institute of Management Consultants, Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Yayasan Mendaki.

For his active involvement in the non-profits sector, he received the following accolades:

• SME Partner Award (2001), from the then Productivity & Standards Board (now Spring Singapore), for his “outstanding contributions to the development of small and medium enterprises in Singapore”
• Friend of MCYS Award (2012), from the then Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), for his active involvement in the Charity Council since its inception, and in the review and fine-tuning of the Code of Governance for Charities & IPCs.
• Business Community Leadership Entrepreneur Award (2017) awarded by the Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce & Industry for his business achievements and community leadership for the Malay/Muslim business community.
• Berita Harian Anugerah Jauhari Perniagaan (Business Achiever Award) 2017 for his business achievements and community leadership.
