The Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday Memorial Scholarship Fund Board (better known as LBKM) was the first Malay-Muslim national organization in Singapore. It was established in 1965 at a National Convention of 73 Malay-Muslim organisations at Victoria Memorial Hall.
The main objective of the establishment of LBKM was to translate the annual celebration of the birthday of our beloved Rasulullah S.A.W. into something tangible and concrete, benefiting the Muslims in Singapore.
Over the years, LBKM has held various fund-raising activities such as a Golf Tournament, Maulud and Ramadhan Appeals, Envelope and Mosque’s Collections, the Annual Rites of Sacrifice, Annual Flag Day, Telepol and Walkathon, to raise funds for needy students.
LBKM is fortunate to have the support of donors and sponsors who have contributed to the growth of LBKM.
